1. Information we collect

Account information. If you create a BakeFlow account, we may collect your email address, sign-in/authentication information, account identifiers, and basic workspace or business settings.

Bakery business information. BakeFlow may collect information you enter about your bakery business, such as business name, public order page name/link, intro or policy text, pickup/delivery settings, payment method notes, menu items, pricing settings, and public page settings.

Order and client information. BakeFlow may store information you enter into the app, including customer names, customer phone numbers, customer email addresses, order details, pickup or delivery dates and times, order notes, quote/deposit/balance/payment status information, menu items, pricing information, and customer communication notes or generated message text.

Public request information. If a customer submits a request through a baker’s public BakeFlow order page, we may collect information submitted in that request, such as customer name, customer contact information, requested item or order details, requested date or time, pickup/delivery preference, budget range, notes, or special requests.

Local device data. BakeFlow may allow local/device-only use. If you use local mode, some information may be stored only on your device and may not be uploaded to BakeFlow cloud services unless you choose to use cloud sync.

2. How we use information

  • to provide and operate BakeFlow
  • to let bakers manage orders, clients, quotes, deposits, messages, and public requests
  • to support cloud sync when enabled
  • to display public order pages when enabled by the baker
  • to generate quote/order summaries and PDFs
  • to provide customer support
  • to protect against misuse, fraud, unauthorized access, or security issues

3. How we share information

BakeFlow does not sell user data or customer data.

We may share information only in limited situations, such as with service providers that help operate the app, hosting, cloud storage, authentication, analytics, or support; when a baker enables a public order page, information submitted by customers is made available to that baker; if required by law or legal process; or in connection with a business transfer if applicable in the future.

4. Firebase and cloud services

BakeFlow may use Firebase or similar cloud services for authentication, cloud sync, database storage, hosting, and related app functionality. When you use cloud features, your account and workspace data may be stored using these cloud services.

5. Public order pages

Bakers may create a public BakeFlow order page to receive customer requests. Customers should understand that submitting a request does not automatically create a confirmed order, no payment is collected through the request form unless BakeFlow adds payment features in the future, the baker reviews the request and replies separately, and submitted request information may be visible to the baker.

6. Payments

BakeFlow currently does not process customer payments inside the app. Bakers may use BakeFlow to record deposits, balances, payment notes, or payment status for their own organization. Any actual payment between a baker and customer happens outside BakeFlow unless payment processing is added in the future.

7. Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide BakeFlow, support users, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize eligible cloud account data as described in our Delete Account page.

8. Account and data deletion

You can request deletion of your BakeFlow account or associated cloud data by contacting support@getbakeflow.com or visiting https://getbakeflow.com/delete-account.

If you use local/device-only mode, some data may be stored only on your device. BakeFlow may not be able to access or delete local-only data remotely. You can remove local-only data by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage from your device settings.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children’s privacy

BakeFlow is intended for business use by home bakers and custom bakery businesses. BakeFlow is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Not legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice

BakeFlow helps organize bakery workflow and records. BakeFlow does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, or business advice. Users are responsible for their own business, tax, licensing, and legal compliance.
